Why are days longer in summer?

The Earth's axis leans toward the Sun. The north gets long days in summer.

Sources: TODO: KO to add sources. KO to check the "distance" claim before it ships: the Earth is closest to the Sun in early January, which is northern winter, so distance does not make the seasons.
